For many method feeder enthusiasts, the heart of this technique lies in preparing the bait and the actual feeding process. If these two operations are performed correctly, then the terminal tackle of our line must receive the utmost attention. Correct calibration of the hookbait is vital for the results of a fishing session.
The more accurately a hookbait is balanced, the better the results will be. Whether we use pop-ups, wafters, or any other floating or sinking hookbait, a good hook will facilitate perfect mechanics, which significantly reduces the percentage of missed strikes.
Although most round hooks are not equipped with a barb, Benzar Zsolt tried the version with a micro barb, which ensures a firm hookset and prevents the fish from escaping. The applied Teflon layer facilitates three times more efficient gliding during hookset.
